Led by: Manas The blowgun is a simple yet fascinating tool — a long, narrow tube used to launch small darts using nothing more than controlled breath. Found in many cultures across the world, it has been used for hunting, target practice and as a practical survival tool. Despite its simplicity, a well-made blowgun requires careful construction and thoughtful design to perform well.
In this session, participants will learn how to make their own blowgun from scratch. The process includes working with CPVC and wood to create the main tube, crafting precision darts using needles, and turning custom components such as a lathe-turned wooden mouthpiece and a dart holder. Along the way, the workshop introduces participants to basic shaping, fitting and assembly techniques that make the tool both functional and satisfying to use.
