Carpentry 101: Making Frames and Boxes

In this workshop, participants will develop fundamental carpentry skills essential for working with timber. They will learn how to prepare timber while understanding basic tools and safety practices. The session covers different methods for constructing boxes and frames, highlighting thoughtful designs and styles.

A key focus will be creating boxes or frames using mitre joints, a preferred method for achieving clean and precise corners. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave not only with their finished projects but also with the confidence and foundational skills to take on future woodworking projects independently.
