Q. Where is the venue?
A. The workshops are happening at goStops, Nainital. Click to open the location
Q. What is the maximum number of workshops one can attend?
A. One can attend a maximum of five workshops — one in each slot (17th Morning, 17th Evening, 18th Morning, 18th Evening, 19th Morning). Please look at the schedule while booking the classes to ensure there are no overlapping classes booked.
Q. Can I book only one class?
A. Yes, absolutely. You can book any one of the 30 classes on offer.
Q. Can I cancel my registration in case of an emergency or another reason?
A. Cancellations made on or before 15th March are eligible for a full refund. After 15th March, registrations are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Q. What is the minimum age?
A. The age criteria is mentioned in the description for each workshop. We have workshops for ages 10 and above, 14 and above, and 18 and above.
Q. Do I need to bring anything for the workshops?
A. Just your enthusiasm and a notebook to jot down your learning. We will provide everything for the class, including materials, tools, and PPE (such as safety glasses, masks, and gloves). Since most classes may require PPE, if you have a specific brand of masks or gloves that you prefer, please feel free to bring them along.
Q. The website plans for stay are for a 4-day package only. Can I book only one day of stay?
A. Unfortunately, for ease of logistics we are only able to offer 4-day packages. However, you can book a one-day stay directly with the stay partners on your own.

Q. What sort of food is included with the stay packages?
A. With the stay packages, breakfast and dinner are included. It will be a basic vegetarian North Indian meal for both. Eggs will be included with breakfast. We will mail you the menu as we get closer to the date.
Q. What about lunch?
A. We will have a couple of food stalls that will be able to provide lunch during the classes.
Q. Will beverages be provided during the class?
A. Each class will have a short tea break.
Q. Do I get to take the things I make back home?
A. Yes.
Q. Can you arrange a courier to send my projects back home?
A. Yes. Just let us know on the day and we can get this arranged. The courier charges are as per actuals and are to be borne by the participant.
Q. Can I do on-the-spot registration for any of the classes?
A. For some classes there may be on-the-spot registrations. However, some classes require early preparation from our side, so it may not be possible for them. It is best to reserve your spot in order to avoid disappointment.
Q. Duration of each workshop?
A. Most of the classes are 4 hours long with a 10-minute tea break in the middle. The backless chair-making class is the only one that is 8 hours long and will take place over two sessions.

Q. How far from the Nainital lake is the location of the workshops?
A. 1.4 km by car. 400 meters walking.
Q. How is the weather in Nainital during the day?
A. The weather is excellent in April with sunny skies and little rain. However, since we are in a hill station, it is best to bring a light jacket or sweater as mornings and evenings can get chilly.
